We're focused on SOTF8 right now, so our goal right now is simply to have a successful SOTF8 tournament. We hope that everything goes smoothly, but there will inevitably be a few bumps in the road. That's why we've assembled this great group of people to assist us with the running of the tournament, so we're very confident. Yes, we have plans to grow. If we're not trying to grow then we're not doing all that we can for the community. We hope to provide bigger cash prizes and some other additional treats as well. Who knows what else might be in store for us in the future.

GotFrag Interview with Scott Walkinshaw

GotFrag released an article titled today SOTF 8 on the Horizon discussing our upcoming tournament. The second page of the article contains an interview with Scott. This was one of the questions:

What is it about these tournaments that you feel makes them more competitive than usual?

It all starts with the mindset of the SOTF admins and staff. Our goal is to provide the best competition possible in Call of Duty and every decision we make reflects that. We've built a reputation around the SOTF name and the best teams want to be part of that reputation; they want to win SOTF. Part of it comes from our timing of tournaments. We had the first competition for CoD 1 and we had the first competition for CoD 2. It also doesn't hurt that there's a $3200 prize purse up for grabs.

You can find the full article at GotFrag eSports.

SOTF 8 seeds were also released today which can be found on the forums or on the bracket.
